…Says Baba-Ahmed’s choice beginning of nation’s rebirth
Presidential candidate on the platform of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has expressed his confidence in over 100 million human structures on which he would leverage to win the 2023 election in Nigeria.

Peter Obi, who officially unveiled his running mate, Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed on Friday, stated that the over 100 million Nigerians that are hungry are their party’s structure in the forthcoming elections.
Responding to questions on the lack of structure to win the 2023 presidential elections, Obi affirmed that: “I continue to say 100 million Nigerians are living in poverty, that 100 million people are our structure, and 35 million people that are unemployed are our structure, all pensioners that are been owned pension is our structure, including those who can go to market and couldn’t buy something is our structure, that is how the structure will come in”.
Presenting him to party members in Abuja, Obi said Baba-Ahmed’s choice has kick-started the party’s journey for Nigeria’s rebirth and rescuing it from the primitive politics of ethnicity. He said Baba-Ahmed was eminently qualified to bring his private sector and academic experiences to bear as they embark on a march to a secure, united and productive Nigeria.
According to him, over 100 million hungry Nigerians and 35 million unemployed, including unpaid pensioners remain their party structure that will deliver victory for the Labour party in the 2023 elections.
The presidential candidate noted that in the coming days the party will unveil its manifestos which are expected to be anchored on the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda.
