Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has responded to Rivers State governor Siminalaya Fubara’s recent boast about using his ‘red biro’ to crush his enemies.

Wike, through his media aide, Lere Olayinka, downplayed Fubara’s threats, reminding him that while Fubara may have been using the red biro for two years, Wike has been wielding it for 14 years.
Recall that Fubara, during the crossover service into 2025 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Opobo Town, vowed to continue using the red biro against his adversaries, saying: “The red biro is still filled. It is still here with me. Every enemy plan will continue to crash”.
However, Wike responded, through Olayinka, posting on social media platform X, “Someone who has only used the red biro for less than two years is somewhere reminding himself and boasting that the red biro is still filled. It is still here with me; Is okay”.
Olayinka further taunted Fubara, saying, “Shouldn’t he also be reminded that someone has used the same red biro for 14 years and is still using it?”
