The leader of a terrorist group in Katsina, AbdulKarim Faca-Faca, has reportedly been killed during a raid by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) yesterday.
The NAF air strikes was said to have killed Faca-Faca along with seven other terrorists at their hideout in Tandama village, of Danja local government area (LGA) in the State.
The spokesperson of Katsina Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, who confirmed the development, said the Police embarked on a mop-up operation after the activities of the Nigerian Air Force.
According to him, the victims include 52-yr-old Garba Dan-Malam; Rabiu Idris, aged 45, and Abba Sama’ila, 38-yrs-old, all of Unguwar Nuhu LGA. Also, Yunusa Sani, aged 54; Ishaq Yakub, 40, and Danjuma Sama’ila, aged 45, all of Layin Sani village, Kafur, he added.
