President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to return to Nigeria today, Wednesday, after a two-leg foreign trip.
Recall that on April 23, the President left Nigeria to The Netherlands, then proceeded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Special Meeting of the World Economic Forum, (WEF), which held from April 28 to 29, 2024.
However, six days after the event, the President didn’t return to the country, and his whereabouts were shrouded in secrecy.
His continued absence as well as silence from the Presidency has raised speculation that the President may be undergoing medical treatment abroad.
But, in an issued statement on his X handle yesterday, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said President Tinubu will be returning to the country from Europe on Wednesday.
According to him, the President will be back to the country alongside his aides.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe”, Onanuga stated.
