Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, says the leadership styles of President Muhammadu Buhari and President-elect Bola Tinubu vary.

Using football managers as an example, while Speaking at the weekend during an interview during a television programme, Fashola said Buhari is like a coach, who prepares his team for the game and sits in the dugout for 90 minutes – while Tinubu is the type of gaffer, who gets involved with the team’s activities on the field.
Recall that the minister worked under Tinubu as his Chief of Staff in Lagos State and succeeded the President-elect as the State governor. He is presently a two-term minister in the administration of Buhari.
The minister added that Buhari did not interfere in his ministry over the last eight years.
Fashola also said the Nigerian constitution allows the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as well as Nigerian citizens to have a dual citizenship.
He stated this in in response to an ongoing debate about Tinubu’s alleged possession of Guinea Bissau citizenship.
He noted that having dual citizenship would not prevent a citizen from becoming Nigerian president, because according to him, Nigeria’s Constitution allows one to have dual citizenship.
“What does his citizenship have to do with the results of the election?” he queried.
