President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Assistant Corps-Marshal Mohammed Shehu as the new Corps-Marshal/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission, (FRSC)
This is contained in an issued statement by the Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF), Segun Imohiosen, yesterday.
?Shehu takes over from Dauda Biu, who had been Corps-Marshal since 2022, and has attained the age of 60 and retired from service.

?The statement, which said Shehu’s appointment took effect from 20 May, 2024, read in part: “The appointment is for an initial period of four years with effect from May 20, 2024, to the relevant provisions of the Act establishing the Commission.
“President Tinubu tasks the appointee to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment”.
