Tinubu absent as Buhari visits Lagos

Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was conspicuously absent on Thursday when President Muhammadu Buhari visited Lagos.

Recall that President Buhari was in Lagos to commission the new Lagos-Ibadan railway project. The President also joined the State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to commission some other laudable projects.

The event was well attended by top politicians and other dignitaries like Professor Wole Soyinka, Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Gov Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Babatunde Raji Fashola and others.

However, Bola Tinubu was not at the occasion that was meant to celebrate a milestone achievement of the APC government led by Muhammadu Buhari.

Despite hosting the event within his State, Tinubu was nowhere to be found. The reason for Tinubu’s absence at such a historic event could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

Could it be that the former Governor was not around that time? This is a question only Tinubu and his allies can answer.
