Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has revealed that members of Fetullah Terrorist Organisation, (FETO), which attempted to push him out of power in 2016, via a failed coup, are currently in Nigeria.

Erdogan, who was on a 4-day official visit to Nigeria, made the revelation yesterday, at a joint press conference with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Turkish president accused the group, led by Fethullah Glen, a Muslim preacher who has lived in the United States since 1999, for the July 15, 2016, failed coup attempt against his government.
In the speech delivered in his native Turkish and interpreted by one of the officials on his entourage, Erdogan asked Nigeria to join his country to forge a solidarity in the fight against terrorism in the two countries as one of the oldest allies of Turkey in Africa, having seen 60 years of diplomatic ties.
He solicited corporation from Nigeria as his country battles terrorism, stressing that his country has been battling with terrorism for many years.
The Turkish president expressed hope that their visit to Nigeria would yield the most auspicious results and I would like to thank my distinguished brother, President Buhari, for being such a gracious host for me and my delegation.
