Kano: Keke rider returns missing ?15m to Chadian passenger

A 22-year-old tricycle rider, Auwalu Salisu, has in Kano, returned N15 million that was forgotten in his tricycle, better known as Keke-NAPEP, by a passenger who came from Chad to buy goods, The Good Samaritan, residing in Yankaba, Nasarawa local government area of the State, promptly returned the misplaced money after hearing about the loss on the radio. The money, a combination of 10.130 million CFA and ?2.9 million, amounted to ?15 million when converted. Operators of commercial tricycle, popularly called Keke Napep, in Kano State have called off the strike action which they had embarked upon on Monday. A lawyer to the tricycle operators, Barr. Abba Hikima, confirmed suspension of the strike in the State to newsmen yesterday.
