The Nigerian Railway Corporation, (NRC), yesterday commenced its 50% discounted Yuletide train services nationwide, recording a strong passenger turnout, as Nigerians moved early to take advantage of reduced fares for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. Across major rail corridors, including the Lagos–Ibadan and Abuja–Kaduna standard gauge lines, as well as key narrow gauge routes, stations witnessed brisk activity with several departures operating near full capacity.
