Nigerian military kills 2,351 terrorists in Q1 – DHQ

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ), has said that troops neutralised at least 2,352 terrorists, arrested 2,308 and rescued 1,241 kidnapped hostages in different operations nationwide between January and March. Inspector-General of Police, (IGP) Olukayode Egbetokun, has said the Force arrested 3,685 suspects over various criminal offences, rescued 401 kidnapped victims and recovered 216 firearms, 3,601 ammunition and 82 vehicles nationwide in the last eight weeks.
