The Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of Healthcare Professional Associations, (AHPA), have suspended their threat to shut down healthcare services in the country. The unions had earlier threatened to disrupt normal services in hospitals and other health care facilities across the country over Federal Government’s inability to meet their members’ demands. The National Association of Resident Doctors, (NARD), has suspended its 10 days’ old strike. The decision was reached during an emergency meeting of NARD’s National Executive Council, (NEC), yesterday.
