The Nasarawa State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA) has embarked on a five-day warning strike. According to the association, the industrial action became imperative in light of the State government’s failure to meet its demands. The State’s NMA disclosed that the strike began at 8 am yesterday, July 5, and will end on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 8 am. Bolt, Uber, other ride-hailing drivers begin nationwide strike

Ride-hailing drivers, including that of Uber, Bolt, LagRide and Indriver, on Wednesday, began a nationwide strike. At the direction of the Amalgamated Union of App-based Transport Workers of Nigeria, ride-hailing drivers are following a sit-at-home order until the ride-hailing companies increase their base fares by 200 per cent. The withdrawal of the fuel subsidy has prompted the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) to launch industrial action. Revall that after President Bola Tinubu stated that the fuel subsidy was gone, the price of petrol at the fuel stations tripled.
