NMA declares strike over doctors death in Lagos hospital

The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) yesterday declared an indefinite strike over the demise of their female colleague, Dr. Diaso Vwaere. Recall that Dr Vwaere died as a result of injuries sustained when she was trapped in an elevator at the Lagos General Hospital for more than 40 minutes. Nasarawa doctors begin 5-day warning strike

The Nasarawa State chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA) has embarked on a five-day warning strike. According to the association, the industrial action became imperative in light of the State government’s failure to meet its demands.
