The 10th House of Representatives is set to receive a request for the creation of Kurya Madaro local government area in Zamfara State.  If successful, it would be carved out of the present Ƙauran-Namoda local government area. With a proposed headquarters at Kasuwar Daji, a memorandum detailing the imperative of creating the proposed council has been submitted to the member representing Ƙauran Namoda/Birnin-Magaji Federal Constituency, Zamfara, Hon.
