Nigeria, first African nation to acquire cosmic rays detector – NASRDA

The National Space Research and Development Agency, (NASRDA), says Nigeria becomes the first country in Africa to acquire a cosmic ray muon detector to aid climate change and atmospheric research. The Director, of UN- African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English, (UN-ARCSSTEE), a research and development centre of NASRDA, Prof. Babatunde Rabiu, disclosed this at a symposium in Abuja on Friday.
