Sokoto: Bandits storm residence of commissioner, abduct family members

Some unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted the sister in-law and brother of the Sokoto State Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Bashir Gorau. Gorau made the disclosure of the abduction on his verified Facebook account yesterday. While speaking to newsmen, the Commissioner said the bandits shot into the air when they stormed the house. The Sokoto State Hisbah Commission Bill has been signed into law by the State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
