Some unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted the sister in-law and brother of the Sokoto State Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Bashir Gorau. Gorau made the disclosure of the abduction on his verified Facebook account yesterday. While speaking to newsmen, the Commissioner said the bandits shot into the air when they stormed the house. Recall that armed bandits attacked Amarawa village yesterday, killing ten persons while others sustained injuries. Armed men suspected to be bandits have reportedly killed four persons and rustled several livestock in Sokoto State.  This tragic incident has made some communities in the eastern part of Sokoto sSate to be deserted as residents fled their residence over fear. The Sokoto State Hisbah Commission Bill has been signed into law by the State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
