The Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, has donated a state-of-the-art Islamic school for orphans and vulnerable children in Kaduna State, naming it the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Centre for Islamic Studies. The newly commissioned institution, located in the ÆŠanbushiya community of the New Millennium City in Chikun local government area, was officially inaugurated on Saturday. The initiative, funded by Ajayi with support from friends and associates, aims to provide free Islamic and Western education to orphaned and indigent children in the area.

Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno on Friday laid foundation for the construction of a Higher Islamic College in Kwaya-Kusar Local Government Area. Nigeria’s First Lady, A’isha Buhari, says she is in support of capital punishment for Abdulmalik Tanko, the alleged killer of Hanifa Abubakar, a 5-yr-old pupil, in Kano State. Buhari made her stance known via a post on her Instagram handle on Sunday. Recall that Abubakar was kidnapped in December and later killed after her abductors demanded N6 million ransom.
