Nigeria has officially begun the implementation of a 30-day visa exemption for Rwandan nationals, in what the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) describes as a landmark move to strengthen diplomatic relations and promote intra-African mobility. “Nigeria implements 30-day visa exemption for Rwandan nationals”, a statement issued by the NIS Service Public Relations Officer, DCI Akinlabi Akinsola on Friday, confirmed the policy shift. Rwandan army mourns peacekeeper killed in CAR

The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), has expressed condolence in a statement over the death of a Rwandan peacekeeper killed in the Central African Republic (CAR). The peacekeeper was killed in a rebel attack earlier in the day. COVID-19: Rwanda reopens Churches after four months

Rwanda has allowed Churches to reopen but with strict conditions meant to limit the spread of Coronavirus, according to a statement by the Prime Minister’s office. Churchgoers will now have to be registered at the entrance, while maintaining 1.5metre distance and must wear masks.  Also, congregants must not give offerings in cash, while children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in.
