The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, (RMAFC), has challenged the constitutionality of proposals made by President Bola Tinubu in his proposed tax reform Bills. The RMAFC is said to have submitted a 9-page Memorandum, in which it opposed the tax reform proposals as submitted to the 10th National Assembly by President Tinubu. Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has countered claims by President Tinubu that the Federal Government granted N570 billion to the 36 States of the federation, stating that the information is not completely accurate. The Chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Elias Mbam, has disclosed that the Commission had begun reviewing the emoluments of political and judicial office holders.
