The House of Representatives has invited the Nigeria Copyright Commission (NCC) toward protecting the rights of late Ilerioluwa Aloba, AKA Mohbads songs and lyrics. This followed the adoption of a motion by Representatives Babajimi Benson (APC-Lagos) at the resumed plenary in Abuja on Tuesday. Indefinite Strike: House of Reps. Speaker Abbas pleads with Labour to suspend action

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Right Honourable Tajudeen Abbas,  has appealed to the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) not to embark on its planned strike action. In his welcome remarks at the resumption of plenary on Tuesday, Abbas pledged that the house would engage and support the Executive to resolve the current economic hardship in the country.
