Nigeria’s refining capacity crashes to 6,000bpd – OPEC

Nigeria’s crude oil refining capacity has further reduced to just 6,000 barrels per day (bpd), according to data obtained from the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, (OPEC). In its latest Annual Statistical Bulletin 2023, OPEC said the country’s capacity to refine its crude oil went from 33,000 bpd in 2018 to 6,000 bpd in 2022.
