The operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have effected a comprehensive seal-off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, using barbed-wire and the Legacy House in the high-brow Maitama district of the FCT. The Police also blocked all the access points to the party secretariat and the Legacy House with patrol vehicles yesterday. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has announced that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) will begin the takeover of properties, including the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over unpaid ground rent, starting Monday, May 26, 2025.
