The Coalition of Northern Groups, (CNG), has asked the Federal Government to direct a Special Security Operation in the North to flush out and destroy all terrorists enclaves across the northern part of the country. Some Northern youths yesterday staged a protest march in the streets of some northern cities over the widespread killings in the region. The protest occurred following consistent attacks and abductions by bandits in the region. Recall that on Thursday, bandits invaded Maza-Kuka in Baare village, Mashegu local government area of Niger State, killing no fewer than 16 persons in a mosque.
