The National Industrial Court has granted an interim order restraining the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), from staging a strike on Monday September, 28 2020. The Joint Health Sector Unions have suspended their seven-day nationwide warning strike. The National Chairman of JOHESU, Mr. Josiah Biobelemoye disclosed this in a statement released at the end of its expanded National Executive Council meeting in Abuja, on Sunday. The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended the nationwide industrial action. President of NARD, Dr Aliyu Sokumba confirmed this development last night.
