Eid-el-Fitr: FG declares Wednesday, Thursday as public holidays

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays to mark the 2021 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. The Minister of Interior, Ra’uf Aregbesola, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government on Monday. A statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Shu’aib Belgore, quoted Aregbesola as congratulating the Muslim faithful on the occasion. FG announces Christmas, New Year holidays

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Ra’uf Aregbesola, has announced that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday 25th, Monday 28th December 2020 and Friday, January 1st, 2021 as public holidays to mark the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year celebrations respectively.
