The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has announced the suspension of operations by Max Air with effect from midnight, tomorrow Friday. This is coming after the airline’s incident involving the airline’s aircraft with registration marks 5N-MBD, which experienced a tyre-burst upon landing at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano on Tuesday. Many air passengers, including the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado-Bayero, escaped death by whiskers as Kano-Abuja Max Air aircraft developed engine failure, 10 minutes after take-off from the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, (MAKIA).
