Three years after the commencement of full operations at the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Nigerian Ports Authority, (NPA), has said Nigerians are yet to fully leverage the opportunities offered by the multi-billion-dollar facility. First trans-shipment vessel arrives Lekki Port

The management of the Lekki Deep Seaport has announced that Rimbaud has become the first transshipment vessel to berth at the port in Lagos. Making this known in a series of tweets yesterday, the port management said the ship, operated by CMA CGM, has a Length Overall of 270m, a breadth of 42.8m and 6,900 Taus capacity. FG approves Lekki Deep Seaport for commercial operations

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the designation of Lekki Deep Seaport as a Customs Port & Approved Wharf. In an issued statement on the official social media handles of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) yesterday, the President, through the Ministry of Transportation to the managing director of NPA, Mohammed Bello-Koko, approved the new Port for berthing of commercial vessels.
