The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, yesterday officially commissioned the 1.4km dual carriageway Flyover Bridge in Pen Cinema Junction, Agege. This is part of the effort by the State government to reduce the gridlock and improve the traffic situation on that axis. Lagos shuts 103 health facilities
The Lagos Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency, (HEFAMAA), has disclosed that 103 health facilities were shut down across the State in 2020 for non-compliance with regulatory standards. The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Abiola Idowu, who disclosed this on Friday during a virtual meeting with the agency’s staff, however, stated that some of the facilities had been re-opened, having corrected the infractions and pledged to abide by set standards.
