The Federal Government says an agreement has been reached between the Kogi State government and Dangote Group to re-open the Obajana cement plant. Bandits have reportedly abducted 14 Indian nationals in Ajaokuta LGA of Kogi State. It was gathered that two Indians, two police officers and two drivers were killed when the gunmen struck. Kogi State Polytechnic has withdrawn 193 students due to poor academic performance in the 2019/2020 academic session just weeks after sending 217 students away for the same reason.
