National Bureau of Statistics, (NBS), says the average retail kerosene price of a litre increased from N1,329 recorded in January 2024 to N1,340 in February 2024. The Bureau said this in its ‘Petrol Price Watch’ report for February 2024, released in Abuja yesterday. It said the February price of N1,340 represented a 0.86% increase compared to what was obtained in January. According to the Bureau, in its document titled: �National Household Kerosene Price Watch (September 2022)“, the price rose from N434.39 in September 2021 to N947.30 in September 2022.
