Kano State government says it intends to reconstruct the original Kano city walls with material from numerous demolitions in the State. Kano: Demolition of illegal buildings continues despite presidential intervention

Despite the presidency’s intervention, the Kano government continued demolition of illegal buildings in the state yesterday. The most recent demolition was of shops built alongside the fence of Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, and GSS Kofar Nasarawa opposite IBB road, as well as buildings by GGSS Dukawuya and Goron Dutse.
