Bandits, who kidnapped an FCT resident, one Mansour Al-Kadriyar and his six children, have reportedly contacted the family, demanding N60 million as ransom payment. The victims were abducted on Tuesday night, in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT). The World Bank has forecasted that persistent insecurity, armed conflict, and worsening livelihoods will continue to affect local government areas in Borno, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara States, and the far north of Adamawa State until May, 2024.
