The Coalition of Northern Groups, (CNG), has strongly condemned the recent attack on Hausa traders in Ekpoma, Edo-Central, describing it as an unprovoked act capable of inflaming ethnic tensions if not urgently addressed. In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Comrade Jamilu Aliyu Charanchi,  the CNG accused some youths of chasing Hausa traders out of the livestock market and slaughtering their goats, calling the incident a grave injustice and a dangerous escalation of communal violence.
