Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that 18 people sustained severe injuries in a gas explosion that occurred in the Oroazi community of Port Harcourt. According to reports, he incident happened on Sunday evening, at a gas refilling shop, causing substantial damage to nearby buildings. The death toll from a gas explosion that occurred in the Sabon-Gari area of Kano metropolis yesterday has risen to nine, according to emergency officials. Two yet-to-be-identified persons died on Tuesday during an explosion at a shop on Afariogun Street, adjacent the Faith City Hospital, in the Ajao area of Lagos State.
