The Federal Government has been advised to devise another means of distributing palliatives to Nigerians, designed to ease the effects of economic hardship on the people. Only a few States appear to have received the 20 trucks of rice palliative earmarked for each of the 36 States by the Federal Government, and the issue is causing anxiety among Nigerians. The Agricultural and Rural Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration confirmed the looting of its warehouse in Dei-Dei on Sunday, by residents in the FCT, over the economic hardship in the country.
