Former finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, has hailed a court ruling that she had no obligation to produce a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate to hold a public office in Nigeria. A Federal High Court, in Abuja, on Wednesday ruled that former Minister of Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun was ineligible for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC). The court said she was not supposed to present herself for National Youth Service because under the 1979 Constitution, which was in force at the time of her graduation, she was not a Nigerian citizen either at the time of her graduation or when she turned 30. A suit seeking to quash the recent appointment of appeal court justices has been struck out by the Federal High Court, in Abuja. Zamfara: Court orders forfeiture of ex-gov Yari’s N284m to FG

A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja yesterday, ordered a final forfeiture of about N284, 306, 294.04 linked to former  Zamfara State governor, Abdul-Aziz Yari, to the Federal Government.
