Power blackout: FCT residents count losses, urge FG to intervene

Many residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have continued to count their losses following the power blackouts in most parts of the Territory. According to reports, poor power supply, or blackouts, in some parts had lingered for more than a month. While some parts of the Territory are supplied power for some hours, some areas have not even had it for five consecutive days. Police uncover kidnappers’ den in Abuja, rescue 11 victims

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command says it has uncovered a kidnappers’ den in a forest within the Kuje area of Abuja. A beggar, Hadiza Ibrahim, has been arrested in Abuja with cash sums of N500,000 and $100. It was learnt that the discovery threw residents into confusion.
