Following the expiration of the deadline earlier given to land allottees owing ground rents in Abuja, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),  Nyesom Wike, has extended the payment deadline till December 14, 2023. The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has raised an alarm over the high number of fake companies in the country. This is even as the Commission says it has uncovered 189 fake companies used to secure land allocations in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Just In! Nigeria’s Supreme Court building gutted by fire in Abuja

A section of the Supreme Court building was gutted by fire on Monday morning; but there were no casualties. According to a spokesperson for the Court, Festus Akande, the cause of the fire was electrical issues from one of the Chambers of Justice.
