With the continuous increase in the price of bread, many residents of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), have lamented that they are struggling to keep up with the cost of the staple food. The Agricultural and Rural Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration confirmed the looting of its warehouse in Dei-Dei on Sunday, by residents in the FCT, over the economic hardship in the country. “Army – NOT Police – rescued Abuja kidnap victims” – Counter-insurgency publication reveals

A counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, has revealed that  it was the Army that rescued the Al-Kadriyar sisters and other persons abducted from the Bwari area council of Abuja on January 2.  The sisters were reportedly released around midnight of Saturday. Kidnappers who attacked the Nigerian Army estate in Kurudu, Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have demanded a ransom of over N30 million for the release of a lawyer, Barrister Cyril Adikwu’s wife and two of his in-laws.
