Lagos: 86 under-bridge rooms where tenants pay N250, 000 annually uncovered

Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water resources, Tokunbo Wahab, says the State has uncovered apartments under the Dolphin estate bridge where tenants pay N250,000 in annual rent. Wahab disclosed that 86 rooms partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10, and a container, were discovered by an enforcement team of the Lagos ministry of environment. Kaduna govt. bans falling of trees, wandering in forests in six LGAs

Kaduna State government, on Tuesday, banned the felling of trees for timber, firewood, charcoal other commercial purposes in Birnin Gwari, Igabi, Chikun, Giwa, Kachia, Kauru, Kajuru LGAs. The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority, (KASUPDA), has issued a 21-day eviction notice to occupants of some markets in Kaduna metropolis.
