Residents block Kaduna-Abuja highway in protest over kidnappings

Movement was halted on the ever-busy Kaduna-Abuja highway yesterday, as residents of Gonin-Gora suburb took to the street to protest rising cases of kidnapping in the area. Gonin Gora is in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State. Recently, four people were reportedly abducted by bandits from their residences in Ungwan-Auta.
