All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Governor Uba Sani, of Kaduna state, as chairman of its campaign council for the forthcoming Ekiti governorship election. The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated April 24, 2026, signed by Ajibola Basiru, national secretary of the party, on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC). The party said Sani’s selection was based on his “distinguished leadership, political experience, and commitment” to the APC.
