A former Senator has been arraigned before Justice Mohammed Mohammed, of the Sokoto State High Court yesterday for an alleged financial scam. The Nigeria Customs Service, (NCS), has arrested two Nigerians with over three million Saudi riyal (N300 million) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Man dies jumping from 7-storey building to avert EFCC arrest in Lagos

An unidentified man died on Thursday, after jumping from the 7th floor of a building at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos. It was learnt he was trying to escape from operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), who were in the estate to effect the arrest of a suspect who was not in any way connected to the deceased.
