Borno massacre: Northern group says it is time for citizen action

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has reacted to the massacre of innocent farmers in Zabarmari of Borno State by Boko Haram, saying time has come for citizens to rise and protect themselves. Coalition cites high fees for boycotting Borno LG elections

A coalition of eight political parties which withdrew from participating in Borno Local Government elections said they were forced to withdraw for lack of fund to pay fees for the election.
