It appears that there is no hope in sight to call-off the lingering strike action, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU), has informed parents and students. IPPIS: We’re looking into ASUU’s preferred payment platform, says Ngige

Indications emerged Tuesday night that the Federal Government may adopt the University Transparency Account System (UTAS), a payment platform developed by ASUU in preference to IPPIS. The Academic Staff Union of Universities has pushed for adoption of UTAS instead of Integrated Payroll Personnel Information System (IPPIS) which it insisted that they would never succumb. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said on Tuesday its University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS) was read for integrity tests.
