Katsina State governor, Aminu Masari has stated that incessant attacks by bandits have made farmers to abandon thousands of hectares of farmland in the State. Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has banned the traditional ‘tashez activities conducted during the month of Ramadan. The ban was conveyed in a statement released by the states Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Home Affairs, Abdulkarim Yahaya Sirikathe. Katsina State Government says it will deploy dogs to complement security arrangements to secure boarding schools in the State. The States Commissioner for Education, Dr. Badamasi Charanchi, disclosed this on Saturday.
