A fresh attack by bandits last Saturday night to kidnap another set and scores of Islamic school students have been foiled in Dandume local government area of Katsina State.
The Police in Katsina, who revealed this yesterday said that the students were returning from an Islamic occasion when they ran into the bandits who had earlier kidnapped the four victims and rustled some cows.
Information from the area revealed that the students (Islammiyyah students) numbering over hundred attended Maulud celebration in a neighbouring village, Unguwar Al-Kassim, and were on their way home, Mahuta village, when the incident happened.
