Transport Minister proposes N205bn capital budget for 2021

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has proposed N205 billion as capital budget for 2021 to enable the ministry make significant progress on all its ongoing projects. Amaechi made this known in a statement during his presentation before the Joint Committee of the Senate and House of Representatives on Land and Marine Transport in Abuja. The reconstruction and rehabilitation of Port Harcourt Maiduguri; Eastern narrow gauge railway, is to start in 2021, says Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi. Abuja-Kaduna fare to cost N6,000 when train service resumes Amaechi

The train fare for the Abuja to Kaduna service will double when the train resumes, the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi has said.
