FG re-opens Kano, Enugu, Port-Harcourt airports for Int’l flights

The Federal Government has decided to re-open Kano, Port Harcourt and Enugu airports for international flights. Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced this yesterday during the weekly briefing of the PTF in Abuja. He listed 15 April and 3 May for the re-opening of the Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Enugu, Enugu State international airports respectively, for international flights. FEC approves N2bn for surveillance equipment for airports, waterways

The Federal Executive Council has approved about N2billion for the procurement of surveillance equipment for some airports and inland waterways in the country. Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, disclosed this to State House correspondents at the end of the Council meeting, presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday.
